Maryland High School Basketball - McDonough overwhelms Chesapeake
December 28, 2023: Baltimore, MD 21221 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) and the host Chesapeake Bay Hawks (Baltimore, MD), saw McDonough's basketball squad wallop Chesapeake by a tally of 73-51.
With the victory, McDonough improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD) to confront the Raiders in a Southern Maryland challenge on Friday, January 5. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-1.
Next up, the Bay Hawks confront the Academy for College and Career Exploration (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Chesapeake will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 68-45 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD).
