Texas High School Basketball - Wellington tops Cisco
December 28, 2023: Wellington, TX 79095 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wellington Skyrockets (Wellington, TX) and the visiting Cisco Loboes (Cisco, TX), saw Wellington's basketball squad knock off Cisco by a tally of 56-46.
With the victory, Wellington improves its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Skyrockets travel to Thrall (Thrall, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 18-0. Thrall won 58-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Meyer (Waco, TX)
Next up, the Loboes play the Hawley Bearcats (Hawley, TX) in a 2A Region II District 10 challenge, on Friday, January 5. Cisco will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record.
