New Jersey High School Basketball - Highland Regional crushes Clayton
December 28, 2023: Clayton, NJ 08312 Highland Regional Tartans (Blackwood, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Clayton Clippers (Clayton, NJ), 102-64 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Highland Regional upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Tartans travel to Delsea (Franklinville, NJ) to play the Crusaders in a Tri-County - Liberty bout on Thursday, January 4. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Delsea won 66-51 in their recent non-league bout against Vineland (Vineland, NJ)
Next up, the Clippers play the Wildwood Warriors (Wildwood, NJ) in a Tri-County - Classic bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Clayton will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 50-38 non-league win over Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ).
