Washington High School Basketball - Foss holds off Cleveland
December 28, 2023: Tacoma, WA 98405 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Foss Falcons (Tacoma, WA) and the visiting Cleveland Eagles (Seattle, WA), saw Foss's basketball squad hold off Cleveland by a tally of 67-61.
With the victory, Foss improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Orting (Orting, WA) to confront the Cardinals in a 2A South Puget Sound challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Orting lost 64-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Eatonville (Eatonville, WA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lincoln Lynx (Seattle, WA) in a 3A Metro challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. Cleveland will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Lynx come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 57-53 non-league loss to Juanita (Kirkland, WA).
