Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY) and the visiting Groton Indians (Groton, NY), saw Cortland's basketball squad wallop Groton by a tally of 56-34.

With the victory, Cortland improves its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Purple Tigers host Homer (Homer, NY) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
