Alabama High School Basketball - Cullman knocked off by Montgomery Bell Academy
December 28, 2023: Cullman, AL 35055 The Montgomery Bell Academy Big Red basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Cullman Bearcats to 37 in the Big Red non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Big Red now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ensworth for a Division II-AA Middle contest on Tuesday, January 2. Montgomery Bell Academy will meet a Tigers team coming off a 65-60 non-league win over Evangel Christian (Louisville, KY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
The Bearcats (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Benjamin Russell (Alexander City, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Benjamin Russell was outscored by Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS), 62-41, in a non-league contest.
