Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Cypress Ranch Mustangs (Houston, TX) and the host Mayde Creek Rams (Houston, TX), saw Cypress Ranch's basketball squad hold off Mayde Creek by a tally of 76-72.

With the victory, Cypress Ranch improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Clear Lake (Houston, TX) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 13-8. Clear Lake lost 76-59 in their recent non-league challenge against Bellaire (Bellaire, TX)
