December 28, 2023: Pearland, TX 77581 The Dawson Eagles basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Katy Taylor Mustangs to 51 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Porte for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Dawson will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 75-60 non-league win over MacArthur (Houston, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-7.
Next up, the Mustangs play the MacArthur Generals (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Katy Taylor will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Generals come into the bout with a 2-13 record after their 75-60 non-league loss to La Porte (La Porte, TX).
