December 28, 2023: Deary, ID 83823 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Garfield-Palouse Vikings (Palouse, WA) and the host Deary Mustangs (Deary, ID), saw Garfield-Palouse's basketball squad hold off Deary by a count of 41-35.
With the victory, Garfield-Palouse upgrades its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Dayton (Dayton, WA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-9. Dayton lost 75-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Rosalia (Rosalia, WA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Troy Trojans (Troy, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Deary will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 62-60 league loss to Clearwater Valley (Kooskia, ID).
