December 28, 2023: Batesville, AR 72501 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Southside Southerners (Batesville, AR) and the visiting DeWitt Dragons (DeWitt, AR), saw Southside's basketball squad wallop DeWitt by a tally of 65-36.
With the victory, Southside improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Southerners host Lonoke (Lonoke, AR) to confront the Jackrabbits in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Jackrabbits come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Lonoke won 62-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Newport (Newport, AR)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. DeWitt will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 62-45 non-league loss to Lonoke (Lonoke, AR).
