Texas High School Basketball - Lone Oak can't hold off Dodd City
December 28, 2023: Lone Oak, TX 75453 The Dodd City Hornets basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Lone Oak Buffaloes to 48 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ford for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Dodd City will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-47 non-league win over Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-7.
The Buffaloes (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Gilmer (Gilmer, TX). The Buckeyes come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Gilmer was nudged by Ford (Quinlan, TX), 54-47, in a non-league contest.
