New York High School Basketball - Scarsdale knocked off by Dougherty Valley
December 28, 2023: Scarsdale, NY 10583 The Dougherty Valley Wildcats basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Scarsdale Raiders to 61 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Pines for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Dougherty Valley will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 56-51 non-league loss to El Camino (Oceanside, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-4.
The Raiders (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY). The Huguenots enter the Section 1 Conference 1B contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, New Rochelle ran past Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY), 63-49, in a non-league contest.
