Louisiana High School Basketball - Edna Karr trounces Westminster Academy
December 28, 2023: Opelousas, LA 70570 The Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) basketball crushed the host Westminster Academy Crusaders (Opelousas, LA), 72-46 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Cougars (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Northwest (Opelousas, LA). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Northwest walloped Frederick A. Douglass (New Orleans, LA), 55-48, in a non-league test.
The Crusaders now own a 7-8 record. They play next when they travel to Teurlings Catholic for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 2. Westminster Academy will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 46-42 non-league loss to Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 8-6.
