Kentucky High School Basketball - Estill County can't hold off Lafayette
December 28, 2023: Irvine, KY 40336 The Lafayette Generals basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the host Estill County Engineers to 62 in the Generals non-league victory on Thursday.
The Generals now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tates Creek for a District 43 contest on Thursday, January 4.
The Engineers (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Russell (Russell, KY). The Red Devils come into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Russell was nudged by Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY), 77-68, in a non-league contest.
