December 28, 2023: Ashland, KY 41102 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Somerset Christian Cougars (Somerset, KY) and the host Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY), saw Somerset Christian's basketball squad knock off Fairview by a count of 79-63.
With the victory, Somerset Christian upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pineville (Pineville, KY) to play the Mountain Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Pineville won 81-66 in their recent non-league challenge against Trimble County (Bedford, KY)
Next up, the Eagles play the Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Fairview will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 81-66 non-league loss to Pineville (Pineville, KY).
