The Wheatmore Warriors basketball team (Trinity, NC), was overwhelmed 65-32 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC)

The Nighthawks now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to NC GBB Academy National for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. First Flight will confront a Eagles team coming off a 85-72 non-league win over College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.

The Warriors (1-10) will now prepare for their battle against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Ben L. Smith trounced Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 85-48, in a non-league battle.
