Fort Wayne Bishop Luers Knights (Fort Wayne, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hammond Morton Governors (Hammond, IN), 76-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fort Wayne Bishop Luers upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Knights host Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Cadets in a Summit bout on Friday, January 5. The Cadets go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran lost 56-49 in their recent non-league bout against Muncie Central (Muncie, IN)

Next up, the Governors play the Marquette Catholic Blazers (Michigan City, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Hammond Morton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record.
