Maine High School Basketball - Gorham tops Westbrook
December 28, 2023: Gorham, ME 04038 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) and the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes (Westbrook, ME), saw Gorham's basketball squad knock off Westbrook by a count of 71-53.
With the victory, Gorham upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Thornton Academy (Saco, ME) to play the Trojans in a AA South challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Thornton Academy lost 52-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Windham (Windham, ME)
Next up, the Blue Blazes play the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) in a A South challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Westbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
