Wisconsin High School Basketball - Greenfield holds off Wilmot
December 28, 2023: Wilmot, WI 53192 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks (Greenfield, WI) and the host Wilmot Panthers (Wilmot, WI), saw Greenfield's basketball squad hold off Wilmot by a tally of 66-61.
With the victory, Greenfield improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Hustlin' Hawks travel to Pius XI Catholic (Milwaukee, WI) to confront the Popes in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Popes come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Pius XI Catholic won 65-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Xavier (Appleton, WI)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Racine Horlick Rebels (Racine, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 30. Wilmot will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 81-35 non-league loss to Brown Deer (Brown Deer, WI).
