The May River Sharks basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Greenville Hurricanes Hurricanes to 39 in the Sharks non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Sharks now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newberry for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. May River will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-46 non-league loss to Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-8.
