Minnesota High School Basketball - Hancock knocked off by Russell-Tyler-Ruthton
December 28, 2023: Tyler, MN 56178 The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Hancock Owls to 65 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain Lake/Comfrey for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will meet a team coming off a 90-63 non-league win over Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The record now stands at 5-1.
The Owls (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Ortonville (Ortonville, MN). The Trojans enter the A Section 6 contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Ortonville was outscored by Underwood (Underwood, MN), 66-53, in a league contest.
