Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Haverford fells Worthington Kilbourne
December 28, 2023: Havertown, PA 19083 Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Worthington Kilbourne Wolves (Columbus, OH), 40-21 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Haverford upgrades its record to 1-7 on the season. The Fords travel to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA) to clash with the Fightin' Tigers in a Central bout on Thursday, January 4. The Fightin' Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Marple Newtown lost 53-52 in their recent non-league bout against Haverford School (Haverford, PA)
Next up, the Wolves clash with the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Worthington Kilbourne will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 82-25 non-league win over Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC).
