New Jersey High School Basketball - Hawthorne fells Weehawken
December 28, 2023: Hawthorne, NJ 07506 Hawthorne Bears (Hawthorne, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Weehawken Indians (Weehawken, NJ), 67-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hawthorne upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bears host Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Pompton Lakes won 54-51 in their recent non-league bout against Manchester Regional (Haledon, NJ)
Next up, the Indians play the Rutherford Bulldogs (Rutherford, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - National bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Weehawken will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 61-48 non-league loss to Dumont (Dumont, NJ).
