The Lake Marion Gators basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Hemingway Tigers to 42 in the Gators non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Gators now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop England for a AA Region 7 contest on Friday, January 5.

The Tigers (1-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar (Lamar, SC). The Silver Foxes enter the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Lamar was defeated by Cheraw (Cheraw, SC), 52-43, in a non-league contest.
