December 28, 2023: Powder Springs, GA 30127 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Hillgrove Hawks (Powder Springs, GA) basketball squad edged the visiting Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA), by a count of 70-67.
The Hawks (11-5) will now prepare for their outing against McEachern (Powder Springs, GA). The Indians go into the AAAAAAA Region 3 outing with a 9-3 record.
The Gators now hold a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Jenkins for a AAAAA Region 1 outing on Friday, January 5. Ware County will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 59-48 non-league win over Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-5.
