Maryland High School Basketball - Howard overwhelms Westminster
December 28, 2023: Ellicott City, MD 21043 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Howard Lions (Ellicott City, MD) and the visiting Westminster Owls (Westminster, MD), saw Howard's basketball squad wallop Westminster by a tally of 67-34.
With the victory, Howard improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to play the Braves in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 2-4. Chopticon lost 78-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Fairmont Heights (Capitol Heights, MD)
Next up, the Owls play the Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD) in a Carroll County challenge, on Friday, January 5. Westminster will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record.
