In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Wills Point Tigers basketball team scored a tight 48-41 triumph over the Howe Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Whitesboro Bearcats (Whitesboro, TX) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 29. Wills Point will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Bearcats enter the match with a 10-6 record after their 59-19 non-league win over Wolfe City (Wolfe City, TX).
