South Carolina High School Basketball - Hunter-Kinard-Tyler knocked off by Whale Branch

The Whale Branch Warriors basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans to 60 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edisto for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Whale Branch will battle a Cougars team coming off a 52-46 non-league win over Ridgeland-Hardeeville (Ridgeland, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-7.

The Trojans (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against North (North, SC). The Eagles enter the A Region 4 contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, North ran past Calhoun County (St. Matthews, SC), 75-60, in a non-league contest.
