Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting South Bend Adams Eagles (South Bend, IN), 61-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Huntington North upgrades its record to 1-8 on the campaign. The Vikings host East Chicago Central (East Chicago, IN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Cardinals come into the bout with a record of 6-4.
