December 28, 2023: Birmingham, AL 35205 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Ramsay Rams (Birmingham, AL) and the visiting Jackson-Olin Mustangs (Birmingham, AL), saw Ramsay's basketball squad wallop Jackson-Olin by a tally of 61-38.
With the victory, Ramsay improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Rams host Wenonah (Birmingham, AL) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.
Next up, the Mustangs play the Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL) in a 6A Area 9 challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Jackson-Olin will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 59-54 non-league win over Spain Park (Hoover, AL).
