In Thursday's non-league outing, the Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) basketball squad felled the host Kennedy Eagles (Bloomington, MN), by a margin of 72-60.

The Magic (1-6) will now prepare for their outing against Hermantown (Hermantown, MN). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Hermantown was beaten by Delano (Delano, MN), 85-61, in a non-league outing.
