The St. Joseph Academy Crusaders basketball team (San Marcos, CA), was overwhelmed 89-62 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Liberty Patriots (Bakersfield, CA)

The Patriots now possess a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgeview for a non-league battle on Friday, December 29. Liberty will confront a Wolf Pack team coming off a 62-58 non-league win over Merced (Merced, CA). The Wolf Pack record now stands at 9-6.

The Crusaders (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Ayala (Chino Hills, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, Ayala trounced Del Norte (Crescent City, CA), 73-53, in a non-league battle.
