December 28, 2023: Norristown, PA 19403 The Lower Moreland Lions basketball team (Huntingdon Valley, PA), was overwhelmed 75-44 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA)
The Eagles now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perkiomen Valley for a Pioneer - Liberty battle on Tuesday, January 2. Norristown will confront a Vikings team coming off a 57-37 non-league win over North Penn (Lansdale, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 8-2.
The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Council Rock North (Newtown, PA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Council Rock North was overwhelmed by Upper Dublin (Fort Washington, PA), 64-33, in a non-league battle.
