Georgia High School Basketball - Luella trounces St. Joseph Academy
December 28, 2023: Luella, GA 30248 The Luella Lions (Luella, GA) basketball crushed the visiting St. Joseph Academy Flashes (St. Augustine, FL), 77-49 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Lovett (Atlanta, GA). The Lions go into the AAAA Region 5 test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Lovett was trounced by Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA), 85-79, in a non-league test.
The Flashes now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Atlantic Shores Christian for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. St. Joseph Academy will encounter a Seahawks squad coming off a 64-58 non-league win over Riverview (Riverview, FL). The Seahawks record now stands at 4-4.
