Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Creek Jaguars (Bothell, WA), 61-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lynden Christian upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Lyncs host Mt. Baker (Deming, WA) to play the Mountaineers in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Mt. Baker lost 88-64 in their recent league bout against Meridian (Bellingham, WA)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Prairie Falcons (Vancouver, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. North Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 74-73 non-league loss to Sehome (Bellingham, WA).
