The Ridge Point Panthers basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting McDonogh 35 Roneagles to 33 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Travis for a 6A Region III District 20 contest on Wednesday, January 3. Ridge Point will battle a Tigers team coming off a 66-49 non-league win over Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 16-4.

The Roneagles (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against John Ehret (Marrero, LA). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record.
