Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Pine-Richland edges Mohawk Area
December 28, 2023: Gibsonia, PA The Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Mohawk Area Warriors (Bessemer, PA), 70-65 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Rams (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA). The Vikings go into the WPIAL 6A 1 test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Central Catholic got by Pennsbury (Fairless Hills, PA), 48-31, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ellwood City for a WPIAL 3A 1 match on Tuesday, January 2. Mohawk Area will meet a Wolverine team coming off a 62-22 non-league win over Maplewood (Guys Mills, PA). The Wolverine record now stands at 5-5.
