Rhode Island High School Basketball - Rogers knocked off by Mt. Pleasant
December 28, 2023: Providence, RI 02908 The Mt. Pleasant Kilties basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Rogers Vikings to 34 in the Kilties non-league win on Thursday.
With the win, Mt. Pleasant upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Kilties travel to New London (New London, WI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-3. New London lost 60-49 in their recent non-league bout against Clintonville (Clintonville, WI)
Next up, the Vikings play the Times Squared Academy Eagles (Providence, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Thursday, January 4. Rogers will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 82-48 league loss to Tolman (Pawtucket, RI).
