The South Medford Panthers basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting North Eugene Highlanders to 53 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Catholic for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5. South Medford will clash with a Rams squad coming off a 77-65 non-league win over Barlow (Gresham, OR). The Rams record now stands at 6-2.

Next up, the Highlanders clash with the North Medford Black Tornado (Medford, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. North Eugene will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Black Tornado go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 61-53 non-league loss to West Salem (Salem, OR).
