The North Johnston Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Vance Charter Knights to 50 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rosewood for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5.

The Knights (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Voyager (Durham, NC). The Vikings come into the 1A Triangle North contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Voyager prevailed over Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC), 67-51, in a non-league contest.
