New York High School Basketball - Nottingham beaten by University Prep
December 28, 2023: Syracuse, NY 13224 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting University Prep Griffins basketball team scored a good 62-53 triumph over the Nottingham Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Griffins meet the Bishop Kearney Kings (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Private Parochial match, on Tuesday, January 9. University Prep will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Kings enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 79-55 league win over Vertus (Rochester, NY).
With the defeat, Nottingham moves to 5-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY) to meet the Cadets in a non-league match on Saturday, December 30. The Cadets enter the match with a record of 4-3. Albany Academy for Boys won 67-43 in their recent non-league match against Kingston (Kingston, NY)
