Minnesota High School Basketball - Perham nudges Paynesville
December 28, 2023: Perham, MN 56573 Perham Yellowjackets (Perham, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Paynesville Bulldogs (Paynesville, MN), 71-67 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Perham upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN) to clash with the Lakers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Detroit Lakes won 73-47 in their recent non-league bout against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton (Glyndon, MN)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Holdingford Huskers (Holdingford, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Paynesville will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Huskers go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 83-63 non-league win over Como Park (St. Paul, MN).
