December 28, 2023: Plainfield, IL 60544 Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Edward Green Wave (Elgin, IL), 60-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Plainfield Central upgrades its record to 3-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Aurora Central Catholic (Aurora, IL) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Aurora Central Catholic won 53-31 in their recent non-league bout against Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL)
Next up, the Green Wave play the Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans (Aurora, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. St. Edward will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record.
