West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Portales Rams (Portales, NM), 75-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Las Vegas upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Dons travel to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 7-1. Robertson won 72-42 in their recent non-league bout against Belen (Belen, NM)

Next up, the Rams play the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Portales will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 72-42 non-league loss to Robertson (Las Vegas, NM).
