In Thursday's non-league outing, the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) basketball squad felled the host Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA), by a margin of 85-74.

The Warriors (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Wolves go into the non-league outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, San Ramon Valley thwarted Rancho Christian (Temecula, CA), 70-60, in a non-league outing.

The Sea Hawks now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Rancho Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, December 29. Redondo Union will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 70-60 non-league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-6.
