Washington High School Basketball - Yelm ripped by Sammamish
December 28, 2023: Yelm, WA 98597 The Sammamish RedHawks basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Yelm Tornados to 43 in the RedHawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The RedHawks now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lindbergh for a 2A KingCo contest on Friday, January 5. Sammamish will battle a Eagles team coming off a 54-44 non-league win over Life Christian Academy (Tacoma, WA). The Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
The Tornados (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Kentlake (Kent, WA). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 0-9 record. In their last contest, Kentlake was routed by Issaquah (Issaquah, WA), 70-36, in a non-league contest.
