California High School Basketball - San Marino knocked off by Sumner
December 28, 2023: San Marino, CA 91108 The Sumner Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and held the host San Marino Titans to 53 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Spartans now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cascade for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Sumner will meet a Cougars team coming off a 58-56 non-league win over University Laboratory School (Honolulu, HI). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.
The Titans (15-2) will now prepare for their contest against University Laboratory School (Honolulu, HI). The Junior Rainbows enter the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, University Laboratory School was outscored by Cascade (Turner, OR), 58-56, in a non-league contest.
