The Silver Lake Mustangs basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Tri County Northeast Wolfpack to 45 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Exeter-Milligan/Friend for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Silver Lake will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 51-41 non-league win over Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-3.

The Wolfpack (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Red Cloud (Red Cloud, NE). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Red Cloud was defeated by Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE), 51-41, in a non-league contest.
