Kentucky High School Basketball - Southwestern knocked off by South-Doyle
December 28, 2023: Somerset, KY 42503 The South-Doyle Cherokees basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Southwestern Warriors to 62 in the Cherokees non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cherokees now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tri-Cities Christian for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. South-Doyle will meet a Eagles team coming off a 47-39 non-league win over Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 15-5.
The Warriors (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Collins (Shelbyville, KY). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Collins was outscored by Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN), 47-39, in a non-league contest.
