Oregon High School Basketball - Vernonia ripped by Weston-McEwen
December 28, 2023: Vernonia, OR 97064 The Weston-McEwen TigerScots basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Vernonia Loggers to 37 in the TigerScots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The TigerScots now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kennedy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Weston-McEwen will battle a Trojans team coming off a 47-34 non-league win over Riverside (Boardman, OR). The Trojans record now stands at 7-2.
The Loggers (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Heppner (Heppner, OR). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Heppner was routed by Knappa (Astoria, OR), 40-38, in a non-league contest.
